Greetings!
My name is River Morris, and I’m honored to introduce myself to you. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy & Leadership from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep-rooted desire to serve others and help them reach their fullest potential. I believe that our actions are shaped by our mindset, and that therapy is a powerful tool for cultivating personal growth and understanding our unique experiences in the world.

I view therapy as a lifelong journey—an ongoing opportunity to strive for clarity, healing, and self-improvement. Working with a professional counselor can help you make sense of past experiences while building a foundation for future aspirations.

In the early stages of my career, I had the privilege of working with adolescent and teenage boys, as well as couples. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the diverse challenges people face and the strength it takes to seek support.

Outside the therapy room, I am passionate about reading—whether it’s scientific literature, history, biographies, or compelling fiction. I also enjoy spending time in nature, engaging in community service, and supporting philanthropic causes.

In our work together, I draw primarily from Adlerian and Solution-Focused approaches, while remaining flexible and collaborative in discovering what works best for you. I commend you for taking this step, and I look forward to walking alongside you on this meaningful journey.
