James "Michael" Bush
A Message From Michael:
I believe that everyone matters and deserves the opportunity to embrace their true selves and experience the full range of human emotions. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your inner world, hold each emotion in front of you, and truly understand its significance. Together, we will delve into the depths of your emotions, discover their meaning, and learn how to harness them to become the best version of yourself. I firmly believe that every person on Earth has the capacity to be loving, peaceful, and happy. They just need the right support and guidance, and that's exactly what I'm here for.
I have spent a significant part of my life living abroad in China, Malaysia, and Thailand. During these years traveling through Asia, I immersed myself in various cultures and learned Eastern therapeutic practices. I have adapted these practices to an American lifestyle, integrating holistic approaches and mindfulness techniques into my counseling work. This experience abroad has given me a deep appreciation for diversity and a broad perspective on the human experience. I have a "Namaste, y'all" approach to life and therapy.
A Bit About Michael Personally:
Outside of counseling, I find joy in expressing creativity through music. As an avid musician, I have released several albums that allow me to connect with my emotions and inspire my therapeutic approach. I also have a profound love for writing and am the author of two novels. Additionally, I have contributed to a poetry anthology that celebrates the beauty of raw emotions. These artistic pursuits fuel my belief in the power of self-expression and personal growth. And as a man, I know that we often have the most difficult time asking for help. I want to change that. I want American men to know that it is ok to feel and that it will actually make our country a better and stronger place if we know how to regulate our emotions.
